Chopsticks (original name The Celebrated Chop Waltz) was written in 1887 by Euponia Allen under the pseudonym Arthur de Lulli. She was 16 when she composed this piece.
Triple metre has a natural flow and young musicians relate to it well. This simplified arrangement of the well-known "classic" is a perfect vehicle in which to introduce triple metre to your band.
