Program Notes
In writing this piece, I had visions of a marionette show with slightly uncontrolled and quirky movement of the skeleton-like puppets, resulting in a near 'comical' dance sequence.
Give the individual layers of the arrangement (the bass, accompaniment and melody lines) a character of their own and visualise them moving in response to the nature and flow of the music.
