Fiesta was commissioned in 1990 by Rosetta High school, Tasmania, in conjunction with the School's Jubilee celebrations.
The notion enjoyment, having fun - a fiesta - was the composer's inspiration. The result, as you will hear, is a playable, rhythmic and appealing composition.
