Brian Hogg

Brian Hogg was born in Yorkshire, England, and came over to Australia in 1964 with his parents. He now considers himself as an Australian and works in the Creative Minitries Department of The Salvation Army. Brian has a Diploma of Music and a Bachelor of Education, and enjoys a growing reputation as a composer/conductor.

Through his activity as a musician in the Salvation Army, his works for brass band have been played and recorded in ternationally. His compositions for concert and symphonic bands have earned him the Australian Band and Orhcestra Directors' Association's Composer of the Year in both 1986 and 1989.
