Chris Scott

Chris Scott is a British Army trained percussionist and started his career at the age of 15 in the "Kings Own Yorkshire Light Infantry" as a boy musician in the band.

Since emigrating to Australia in 1970, Chris has worked in many facets of professional entertainment, ranging from the "R.A.A.F. Central Band" in Melbourne, (with a very young Ralph Hultgren), to the "Queensland Symphony Orchestra", as well as big bands, rock bands, cabaret, and contemporary jazz ensembles.

Chris is now a full-time teacher of Brass/Woodwind and Percussion with Education QLD. He has been involved with the creation and development of many school ensembles during his 32 years.

Chris holds a bachelor of education degree from the University of Southern Queensland and is also the principal percussionist with the "QLD Pops Orchestra".
